I just wanted to tell you how my bachelorette party was a nightmare. I started the night telling my girls that I didn't want drink much because I wasn't feeling well. They were all like no we are getting you messed up. So I started the night like this
These are my bm's the one on the right end is my older sister and my parents are really upset with her.
So I ended the night in the hospital. I'm not totally blaming them but as a bride if you want to keep giving me drinks and things the least you should do is look out for me. So at the end of the night we was outside the club. The girls were busy flirting with guys then this is how I get injured.
I SAW MY MOH GET IN SOME STRANGE GUY'S TRUCK SO I WENT ACROSS THE STREET TO GET HER BECAUSE I'M LIKE OH NO. WELL TRYING TO HELP HER OUT I FEEL OFF THE CURB HIT MY HEAD AND BLACKED OUT.
So they took me back to the hotel and I kept saying call my fi and they wouldn't so finally I got my phone and was crying telling him to come get me (at this point no one told me my head was bleeding or anything) he gets there and is soo upset because they told him I was fine (which I wasn't ) and tried to put a band aid on my head and tried to get me to lay down.
He took me to the hospital and they said it was serious anytime you hit your head and that I could have died from it if not treated (I thought about that celebrity natasha richards who died from an head injury after skiing). I had to have a cat scan and TWO MRI'S because I had high density on the front of my brain from the injury and they needed to make sure the hemotoma didn't go through my brain and I had brain bleeding. So now I'm on 48hrs bed rest and I can't get anything done. My mother is going to stay with me for the rest of the week while my fI goes to work. On top of that I don't have insurance and I would be covered in two wks and I'm scared of what this bill will look like when it comes in.

Finally I'm so depressed that my face won't heal by the wedding and I keep crying that I will look back at my pictures and have a constant memory of this. It may sound anal but when you spend so much on photography and you want to look beautiful for the big day and I may look ugly. My arms and my legs are scraped up and it's just a mess.
Please pray that I heal fast and my face heals too. I won't be on here probably to next week so you know why.
Here's what I looked like in the hospital and it's more severe in person my whole face is swollen.
Oh lord, so sorry about this mess Kellie :(
ReplyDeletekay kay, don't worry about the bruise. you are gettin married! Live in the moment!
ReplyDeleteI am SO sorry that this happened. But the bruises won't take away from the beautiful bride you'll be!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear of this dearie. I'm am thoroughly convinced that you will be a stunning bride! Definitely praying for a total quick and speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteOh, dear! I am so, so sorry! I'm sure they're shoving fluids down your throat, but in case they aren't, drink a lot of water! Don't be afraid to use make-up to cover what's left of the bruises - concealer can go a long, long way. =)
ReplyDeleteJust have faith - its amazing what the human body can do in two weeks.
Praying for a quick healing. you WILL be beautiful you day!
ReplyDeleteKayKay, I am sorry this happened and I am glad it wasn't more serious and i pray you heal very fast. Try not to worry, you will make a beautiful bride.
ReplyDeleteKay Kay,
ReplyDeleteSweetie I am so sorry to hear this!! I'm praying for you that everything heals really fast for you. Im sure with everything going on your prob on diff medicine, but one thing that I live by that helps scares is "Witch Hazel" this helps heal the skin quickly (its not the best smelling stuff), so while your resting just soak it in some paper towel and sit it on your scratches.
Cindy
Hi! I don't know you but I have followed your wedding cause I am getting married in Detroit also. But, I wanted to tell you about a product that my co-worker told me about. It's call Bio-Oil, I have seen it at Meijer and Walgreens, But she said it is great for scars, better than Mederma. I hope this helps in some way and have faith that it will all work out.
ReplyDeleteWell, this just proves that you really do have a knight in shining armor! Thank goodness you'll be okay. I hope you have time to reconcile with your bm's before the big day. It was unfortunate, but perhaps your stunning wedding will make up for it all. I'm sure the feelings you have on that day will overshadow any pre-wedding mishaps!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry that this happened, but thank God that it wasn't any worse, & that you are still with us today. As the others have said, you WILL be a beautiful bride. Feel better.
